Amputee Football CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2023 ESTEPONA

21/7/2023

The City of Estepona will host the IV Edition of the Amputee Soccer Champions League on November 10-12. It is the first time that a high-level international competition of this sport has held an EAFF Tournament in Spain. This competition brings together the league champion representatives of eight European countries, to decide the European champion in 2023. The countries represented by their respective clubs are: Spain, France, Ireland, England, Poland, Georgia, Turkey and Italy. CD Flamencos Amputados Sur will be the Spanish team in the competition, as host and current champion of Spain. In the month of September the draw will take place in which the teams will be divided into two groups of four. Initially there is a league phase of all against all, to later go on to play semifinals and positions. A total of 18 matches in two magnificent facilities that the city of Estepona has: The Francisco Muñoz Pérez stadium and the new Felipe VI Athletics Stadium. Taking over the organization of the tournament places the City of Estepona as the European capital of Amputee Soccer, demonstrating its commitment to sport and disability, multiplying the exponential value of sport values. A sporting modality on the rise, with great projection within sport and disability which can be followed on different channels and platforms, both national and international. Quite an organizational challenge for the city and the Andalusian club.
