FLAMINGOS AMPUTADOS SUR MEASURES THE REAL BETIS BALONPIE IN THE SPORTS CITY.

2/12/2021

Activity framed within the diversity week of the Real Betis Foundation. During this Diversity week, Southern Amputated Flamingos have participated in different inclusive activities. Among them is that of "flying" to the Sports City of Real Betis Balonpie Luis del Sol to participate in a training session and match with the first team of the same club. An activity framed within the program of the Betic club through its Foundation in Diversity Week. It has been a real joy for the players of Flamencos A.S to be able to share and measure themselves against their soccer idols in their own sports city. The activity has served to highlight, on the one hand, the social commitment of Real Betis giving visibility to inclusive sport and also to "show" again to the whole world the "value" of Amputee Flamingos in our society. The first amputee Spanish soccer team that does not stop flying, traveling transmitting who they are, an example of life, a source of inspiration. The two teams introduced themselves to each other and various members of the Flamencos club explained to the Betis first squad basically the evolution of their sport, the small adaptations of their football and the depth of their short-medium-term amputee soccer project. After the greeting between all the components of both teams and the corresponding warm-up, a game of 7 against 7 was played. The Betis players played the game with their "hands behind" to compensate for the game due to the lack of "one leg." in the Flamenco team. A new experience for the Joaquin, Fekir, Juanma, Borja Valero ... who experienced first-hand the difficulty of having one less "member" in sports practice and on a day-to-day basis. Thank the Real Betis Balonpie Foundation for the opportunity to give visibility to the adapted sport, in this case to our inclusive football. The greatness of the Andalusian club was amply demonstrated. With this activity, the year 2021 practically closes, a year in which South Amputated Flamingos has been Spanish Club Champion, has nurtured the Spanish Amputated Soccer Team in the European Sub-Championship with players and has taken a step forward in its Project. sports-social.
